Halloween Bouncy Castle Hire: Frightfully Good Fun This October
Something wicked this way bounces...
Halloween is creeping closer, which means pumpkins are appearing on doorsteps, fancy dress costumes are escaping from cupboards and children everywhere are preparing to consume a frankly terrifying quantity of sweets.
If you're plotting a Halloween party of your own, Cambridge Bouncy Castles can help you scare up the entertainment. From bouncy castles and inflatable challenges to games for little monsters, we've got plenty of tricks up our sleeve and treats in our hire range.
No Rest for the Wicked... Or the Children
Children dressed as vampires, witches, skeletons and superheroes rarely want to spend Halloween sitting quietly. Give them a bouncy castle, however, and they'll soon be raising the spirits.
A bouncy castle gives younger guests somewhere to leap, bounce and play between the other parts of your Halloween celebration. Add one of our Bouncy Castles with Slides and they'll be climbing up and swooping back down before you can say boo.
Just make sure fancy dress costumes are suitable for using the equipment and that anything sharp, loose or likely to cause a problem is removed before children climb aboard. Nobody wants their inflatable party to go bump in the night for the wrong reason.
Enter If You Dare: Halloween Challenge Zone
Got older children who consider ordinary party games a little too tame?
It might be time to unleash the challenges.
Our Assault Courses can turn a Halloween gathering into a race to escape the inflatable lair. Send friends head-to-head, time their attempts or simply let them tackle the obstacles at their own pace.
There are no actual ghosts hiding inside.
Probably.
Games So Good They're Scary
Not every Halloween activity needs to involve bouncing. Our Funfair Games can add quick challenges to a Halloween party, school disco or community event.
Give each game a spooky twist of your own. Create a little Halloween tournament, award prizes for successful attempts or pit parents against children and see who cracks under paranormal pressure.
Meanwhile, our Sports Games can keep competitive ghouls occupied when standing around looking sinister starts to lose its appeal.
A Little Something for Your Tiny Terrors
Halloween doesn't belong exclusively to bigger children. Tiny witches, miniature werewolves and suspiciously adorable pumpkins deserve some fun too.
Our Soft Play equipment can create a dedicated play space for younger guests at suitable indoor celebrations.
It's a useful option for family Halloween parties where toddlers need something more their size while older brothers and sisters are busy causing havoc elsewhere.
Throw a Monster Mash Indoors
October weather can be a beast of its own. Darkness arrives earlier, temperatures fall and the forecast can change faster than a vampire spotting sunrise.
Hiring a suitable village hall, community centre or other indoor venue can take much of that uncertainty out of your Halloween plans.
Check the available floor space and, crucially, the ceiling height before choosing an inflatable. Not every bouncy castle will fit every hall, so measurements really are your boo-st friend.
Sorry. We couldn't resist that one.
Build Your Own Haunted Party
You don't need an enormous event to have a cracking Halloween. A few simple ingredients can turn an ordinary children's party into something suitably spooky:
- A bouncy castle or inflatable as the main attraction
- Halloween decorations around the venue
- A fancy dress competition
- Spooky music for your monster mash
- Funfair or sports challenges
- Halloween party food and suitably gruesome-looking treats
- A pumpkin competition
- Prizes for games and costumes
Add a few cobwebs, dim the lights where appropriate and give your party games Halloween names. Suddenly you've got yourself a celebration worth getting batty about.
School Halloween Events That Aren't a Nightmare to Plan
October is also prime time for school discos, PTA events, community celebrations and fundraising activities.
Inflatables and games can work alongside the rest of your plans rather than replacing them. Children might spend part of the event dancing, another part attempting challenges and the rest trying to persuade whoever is supervising the bouncy castle that they definitely haven't already had seventeen turns.
For larger events, take a look at our Inflatable Challenges and other bigger attractions when you need something with a little more bite.
Beware the October Weather
If you're planning outdoor Halloween entertainment, keep one eye on the sky. Rain and wind can affect whether inflatable equipment can be used safely.
Inflatables must not be used when wind speeds exceed 24mph. If rain begins during a hire, children should stop using the inflatable until conditions improve. The inflatable should normally remain switched on to prevent water accumulating, with the bouncing area towel dried before use resumes.
Mother Nature can be rather witchy in October, and unfortunately we haven't yet found a spell that controls the weather.
