Setup and Requirements

Q: Where can inflatables and soft play equipment be set up?

A: Outdoor inflatables must be placed on a flat grass surface with at least 1.5 metres clearance around them. The area must be free from debris and animal waste. Indoor setups require sufficient ceiling height and space.

Q: Do I need to provide electricity for the bouncy castle?

A: Yes, all inflatables require a standard 13-amp power supply. If this is not available, please contact us in advance to discuss options.

Q: How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?

A: Each product has different space requirements. As a general guide, you will need enough room for the inflatable plus at least 1 metre clearance on all sides and additional height clearance indoors. Contact us if you are unsure.

Q: Can inflatables be set up on artificial grass or hard surfaces?

A: In most cases, outdoor inflatables must be set up on natural grass for safety and anchoring. Indoor setups can be on hard floors if suitable space is available.

Safety and Usage

Q: Can adults and children use the inflatable at the same time?

A: No. Adults and children should not use the inflatable together to reduce the risk of injury. All inflatables must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Q: Are there any specific safety instructions?

A: Yes. Shoes, jewellery, glasses and sharp objects must be removed. No food, drinks, pets, toys, smoking or BBQs are allowed on or near the inflatable.

Q: Can inflatables be used in the rain or wind?

A: Inflatables should not be used during rain. Leave them inflated and dry them before reuse. If wind speeds exceed 24 mph, the inflatable must not be used.

Q: What should I do if the inflatable deflates?

A: Remove all users immediately and check the blower and connections. If the issue continues, contact us straight away.

Q: Are there restrictions for certain users?

A: Yes. People with neck or back injuries, pregnant individuals, or those with medical conditions that increase risk should not use inflatables.

Damage, Responsibility and Insurance

Q: What happens if the inflatable is damaged?

A: Any damage must be reported immediately. The hirer is responsible for repair or replacement costs if damage is caused during the hire.

Q: Does the hire include insurance?

A: We hold public liability insurance. However, this does not cover damage, loss or theft during the hire period.

Q: Can we use decorations like party poppers or silly string?

A: No. These can stain and damage the inflatable and may result in additional charges.

Q: What if access is difficult or through a building?

A: If equipment needs to be moved through a building, we cannot be held responsible for any damage to property.

Event Types and Suitability

Q: What types of events are your products suitable for?

A: Our equipment is suitable for birthdays, school events, fundraising and PTA events, corporate events, weddings and community events.

Q: Do you supply equipment for indoor events?

A: Yes. Many of our products, especially Soft Play and smaller bouncy castles, are suitable for indoor use in halls and venues.
